First Day Back to Work: Cat Won’t Eat & Drooling? Don’t Delay!
本站 2026/3/4 9:59:34
Did your cat overindulge during the Spring Festival holiday? Too many treats, no teeth brushing…
And suddenly you notice:
😽 Refusing favorite canned food
😽 Drooling sticky saliva
😽 Terrible bad breath
Don’t brush it off as “just full from the holiday”.
Loss of appetite + drooling + bad breath are often warning signs of stomatitis.
We recently treated a 5-year-old rescued tabby cat.
The owner found her severely underweight, in pain while eating, and drooling nonstop.
Examination confirmed caudal stomatitis.
Our treatment plan:
✅ Full-mouth dental X-rays before surgery to evaluate tooth roots
✅ Nerve block anesthesia + comprehensive pain management
✅ Imported absorbable sutures to minimize bleeding
The next day after surgery, she ate liquid food voluntarily.
Hospitalized for 3 days then discharged.
2 months later, inflammation was gone and she gained a lot of weight!

Important reminder:

The longer cat stomatitis is delayed, the less effective tooth extraction will be.

If you see poor appetite or drooling, seek veterinary care as soon as possible!
